Artistic Expressions of Women Empowerment at The Mall | NUSTAR
Jef Albea’s “In Her Voice” art exhibit emerges as a captivating tribute, illuminating not only the beauty of women but also showcasing their remarkable strength and resilience. The collection features breathtaking pieces that explore the myriad dimensions of womanhood, shedding light on the voices, struggles, and triumphs of women both throughout history and in contemporary society. As part of the Women’s Month celebration, Albea’s work invites viewers to engage deeply with the ongoing journey of empowerment, courage, and individuality that characterizes the modern woman. Renowned for his ability to encapsulate human emotion, Albea employs his distinctive style to deliver a poignant visual homage. The exhibit will be on display until March 23, nestled in the vibrant setting of The Mall, Level 1, beckoning all to experience this powerful testament to feminine strength.
“’In Her Voice’ is a powerful tribute to the diverse strength, beauty, and resilience of women. It’s a salute to the voices that have shaped our world, the struggles they’ve overcome, and the ongoing journey towards empowerment that continues to define the modern woman,” shared Albea.
Complementing this vibrant showcase is “ANG PANIMALAY,” presented by the talented Friday Group Sessionistas. This collective exhibit serves as a powerful celebration of women’s empowerment, shining a spotlight on their invaluable contributions to the fabric of community building.
The exhibit features an inspiring array of artistic expressions by a diverse group of creators, including Tina Marie Gandionco, Ann Lubanga, Michiko Nina, Deedee Rallos, Rhodesa Cruzet, Ma. Kyla T. Agang, Chauncey Ferolino, Keara Pabinguit, Nhey Prado, Jamaica Elento, Georgina Castillo, Mean Mustard, Xanne Normandia, Orlane Quijada Baguio, Abiguil Barricuatro, and Verna Mae Ochua. Each artist brings a unique perspective and style, enriching the narrative of empowerment through their work.
Visitors can experience this thought-provoking exhibit until March 31, 2025, located on Level 2 of The Mall | NUSTAR.
