  • This marks an exciting milestone for Trilogy Hotels with ten assets now under management.

Sydney, Australia – Trilogy Hotels broadens its portfolio in the West, announcing three new signings with Novotel Sydney Parramatta, Mercure Sydney Parramatta and Leura Gardens Resort.

Reaffirming their trust in Trilogy Hotels’ independent hotel management model, The Huang Family has now assigned four of its key Sydney hotels to Trilogy, following Holiday Inn Sydney Airport which commenced in July (rebranding to Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport) and Crowne Plaza Macquarie Park from 2025.

The 194-room Novotel Sydney Parramatta offers modern amenities and stylish decor with an outdoor heated swimming pool, steam room, gym, sun deck and a restaurant and bar with views of the Parramatta River. Featuring one of the largest columnless ballrooms in Parramatta with over 915 sqm of conference space, and within walking distance of CommBank Stadium and Parramatta Square.

The 165-room Mercure Sydney Parramatta is a mainstay of the River City’s hotel scene, providing a restaurant and bar, gym, swimming pool, tennis court, and four versatile meeting rooms, close to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, Westfield Parramatta, and Sydney Olympic Park for easy access to shopping, entertainment, and sports.

Trilogy Hotels will commence operations for Novotel Sydney Parramatta and Mercure Sydney Parramatta in early September. Both assets will continue to be branded by Accor under a franchise agreement, providing exceptional distribution capability, marketing and loyalty programs.

The agility of having the Trilogy Hotels team run our operations has been very rewarding. We are pleased to have signed another two hotels, allowing us to connect with our guests in greater and more personalised ways. Frank Huang, owner and director of The Huang Family portfolio

We sincerely thank Frank and Wade for their continued faith in our team and model. We kickstart operations next month and look forward to helping realise the full potential of each asset, driving bottom-line performance and efficiencies by operating the four hotels together. Scott Boyes, CEO of Trilogy Hotels

Similarly, Australia’s largest privately owned hotel group, Schwartz Family Company and owner Dr Jerry Schwartz have deepened their relationship with Trilogy, signing Leura Gardens Resort as the fifth hotel within the group, following the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains, Mercure Sydney Railway Square, Ibis Sydney World Square and Mercure Canberra.

Leura Gardens Resort is a 93-room boutique hotel nestled in the picturesque suburb of Leura – the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park and just minutes from the award-winning Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains and Leura Golf Club, also part of the Schwartz network. The charming resort underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2023 and boasts multiple conference and events spaces and substantial recreational facilities.

The resort will remain unbranded, leveraging the already well-established Leura Gardens name. SiteMinder will provide Trilogy Hotels with a complete channel management solution, which includes taking bookings directly to the resort. In addition to this approach to distribution, Trilogy will be looking to enhance and maximise the wonderful potential of the food and beverage outlets.

Dr Jerry Schwartz, owner and director of the Schwartz Family Company, completed the acquisition of the Leura Gardens Resort last week. It is the company’s 15th hotel in Australia.

Leura Gardens Resort remains a special place for my family with so many fond memories of holidaying there with my parents back in the 1970s, said Dr Schwartz.

The hotel is rich in history and atmosphere, with its famed gardens created back in the 1920s for Lady Mabel Fairfax. The gardens remain a central attraction in the resort’s four and a half acres of grounds, and we look forward to working with Trilogy to re-establish the property as a first-choice Blue Mountains hotel for couples, families, groups and conferences.

It is not lost on Trilogy the importance of this hotel to Jerry and his family and we will be operating the hotel with this in mind. Thank you Jerry for your confidence in Trilogy and for choosing us again to operate this homey and boutique resort, says Scott Boyes, CEO of Trilogy Hotels.

While we’ve only just begun operations, we have great plans in the pipeline for Leura Gardens, capitalising on the nearby Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains. We can now provide a mix of different venues and experiences across Schwartz assets in the Blue Mountains, cementing their position as a leading destination for leisure and conference guests in the region, continues Boyes.

As independent managers, Trilogy Hotels handles all facets of hotel operations including revenue management, cost control and human resources. With bespoke services provided for each asset, best-in-market teams and staff development are a key focus for Trilogy to help unlock the maximum potential of every hotel.
