on two occasions now over the years. Located in downtown Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, our most recent visit was in the month of February.
This beautiful luxury oceanfront hotel is ideally located, at Victoria’s Scenic Inner Harbor.

Inn at Laurel Point in Victoria, British Columbia – Review
Since our first visit a few seasons back, the front entrance and reception area, have been completely refurbished, with a warm and inviting fresh look.
The view from the large glass windows overlooking the harbor, is amazing!
The moment you arrive, hotel staff are present and ready to assist you, in any way they can. From Valet service if arriving by car, to assistance with your luggage and more, for your convenience.
On both visits, check in was done quickly and we were in our room, within minutes. Staff present in the reception area on our arrival greeted us with a warm friendly smile and hello, making you feel most welcome. This included our friendly beagle, who was also greeted with dog treats!
Below, I’ve listed a few of the hotels amenities, available for all registered guests.
The Inn at Laurel Point Guest Rooms
The hotel consists of at total of 200 guest rooms, with two distinct wings. The Erickson and Laurel Wing Rooms.
From very large; studio’s, to a variety of luxurious full suites, the choice is yours. They all come with outdoor patios/balconies and ocean views. All of the hotels guest rooms are beautifully decorated and appointed, with amenities one would expect, in a luxury hotel of this caliber.

The photo’s below show are wonderful extra large studio located in the hotel’s Erickson wing. We are always amazed by the size of this guest room, for a Studio.

The Inn offers guests a variety of room choices, certainly to suit most everyone’s needs.
For business travelers or others, all guest rooms are beautifully appointed with views, that will take your breath away of Victoria BC’s Beautiful Inner Harbour.
Our guest room was absolutely perfect, with warm and inviting look.

Laurel Wing
These more traditional style hotel guest rooms offer either; one king bed or two double beds. They are located in the original section and offer a water view, which can be enjoyed from a small, standing room only balcony.

There’s a lovely indoor pool and fitness area for guests to enjoy. Complete with an outdoor pool patio with comfortable seating, for those beautiful; British Columbia summer days!

The Aura Waterfront Restaurant + Patio is situated right inside the hotel.
Guests can enjoy waterfront dining at the Aura Restaurant for; breakfast, weekend brunch and dinner. As well, there’s a separate lounge area to sit back, relax and enjoy your favorite cocktail.

The surrounding landscape and grounds are absolutely beautiful!
There’s a lovely promenade, bordering the property to enjoy a walk on, and soak in the amazing view of the harbor and city.
It doesn’t get any better than this!
Display Cases Inside the Hotel
Even as you walk the halls of the hotel, there are beautiful display cases for viewing.

Ideally Located In Downtown Victoria BC
You simply couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in downtown Victoria.
The Inn is located within minutes of the downtown business center. It’s an easy walk to the Inner Harbor and popular tourist attractions. You can walk to many major tourist attractions surrounding the harbor including;
The Government Parliament Buildings;
The Provincial Museum;
Historic Government Street;
Chinatown;
Shopping District;
Whale Watching Tours;
Inner Harbour Promenade Walkway.
There’s so much to see and do in the city, and The Laurel Point Inn is just minutes walk,
to many major attractions.
As well, you can even access the Cruise Ship Port and very popular; Ogden Point Breakwater Walkway. Again, just a few minutes walk from the hotel as well.
The Inn at Laurel Point Is Pet Friendly
For those of you traveling with your pet like we do on many occasions, there’s no need to worry, about boarding your 4 legged companion. The Inn offers pet friendly rooms for your convenience.
When we arrived, staff had all the amenities one would need when traveling with a pet, waiting in our room.
There’s no need to pack anything but your pets favorite food!
The room is equipped with;
Feeding bowls;
A comfy padded sleeping blanket;
Special Treats made in house;
Doggy Walking Bags for waste;
Map of walking areas.
As you can see by the photos, our beagle felt quite a home during his luxury stay, enjoying the sunshine on the balcony and the view!
It’s so nice when traveling with your pet, to not have to search for and worry about, unfamiliar boarding facilities.
If you’re looking for luxury beyond compare, with a view to die for and ideally located, to downtown Victoria’s main attractions, then you simply can’t beat this; luxurious oceanfront hotel.
Staff do their utmost to make your stay as pleasant and as memorable as possible.
